Dalkeith Miners' Charitable Society: Scottish Registered Charity from 20 August 1971
The Charitable Society's purpose is to provide facilities for recreational & other leisure activities that are conductive to the improvement of the living conditions in Dalkeith & the surrounding community. As well as providing facilities for all sorts of charitable groups to conduct their classes & gatherings we also make regular donations to local sports teams & sponsor local athletes. The club has also been used as a regular polling place for local & national elections.
